We are looking for a Head – Performance Marketing, someone who is an expert in SEM & Paid
Media Buying to manage & creatively direct a team that executes all search engine marketing
activities. He/She would be responsible for planning, implementing & monitoring all SEM related
activities across all the main search networks like Google, Yahoo and Bing.
This person will be leading a team of 3 to 5 consultants and managing the ROI. The Performance
Team works as a separate business unit and so the person should have the capability to run this
division as a successful unit. This will involve a lot of decision-making, risk taking appetite, foreseeing
the future of the Paid Media division and proactively planning for the same. Some of the routines
would involve: motivating the team, steering away unwanted pressures, keeping the team focused
on day to day as well as weekly tasks.
Key Requirements:
 Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo and Bing.
 Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
 In-depth experience with website analytics concepts and tools
 Experience with bid management tools
 Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
 Maximize profits by using creative and analytical skills to write advertisements, plan campaign
strategy, analyse traffic statistics and manage client’s marketing budget effectively
 Experience of ROI driven campaign management
 Manage complex projects with an ability to handle multiple projects at a time
 Solid work experience in Digital agency for minimum 5 years at leadership role
Roles and Responsibilities:
Managing the Business: We run this paid media as separate a business unit with specified target
margins and profits on each quarter. The role of this person is to drive these numbers, plan for the
accounts regarding man-power, account strategy, and meet with client expectations. The critical
thing here is to foresee the red-flags hindering this growth and proactively tackling it.
Future of Paid Media: The ever-evolving challenges in Paid Media keeps us vigilant about the
changes. This person has to have an eye set for the future and make those changes so that the team
is future ready. This can be in the form of training, building bench strength or learning new skills.
This person should have the flair to experiment new things like automated tools, programmatic
buying, create dashboards on their own, infographic reports and so on.

Productivity and Quality: We are a small team with a highly efficient team who delivers quality
work. There will be times where this person has to roll up their sleeves and get things done. You
should have that hands-on experience to lead the pack and inspire them to deliver quality work.
New Business Opportunity: This person will also be part of new pitches on Paid Media. This kind of
work requires ideation, auditing and proposal planning skills from the person. Only extensive
knowledge in the domain will help to come up with a good strategy. This person should also be
promoting the wins and achievements of the team and be responsible for churning out case studies
for Paid Media.
